    Research and Sketch(1)

    Sole Purpose was a non-profit that connected unused climbing shoes with those that didn't have them. But before a name or brand, questions needed to be answered. Tools: ID, Pencil and Paper

    Reseach and Sketch(2)

    The client liked the climber in middle of the two shoes shaped like mountains. So iterations of this were sketched. Tools: Pencil and Paper

    Development(1)

    After narrow down a version of the previous sketches, the client was interested in color and font choices with the logo. Tools: AI

    The client was undecided and provided a new direction. After a round, I advised the client we needed to start from square one and research more. Tools: Pencil and Paper

    Once the new round of research was complete, the brand started coming together. Community and unity were becoming solid themes. Tools: Pencil and Paper

    A logo and direction was choosen. Different iterations and font choices were then created. Tools: AI

    The Brand

  • Rise

    Adventure Recreation

    Research and Sketch

    Rise, a new adventure recreation company, needed everything from a logo to a video animation completed within a 1–2 week time frame. Tools: Pencil and Paper

    The client wanted to develop the idea with the "I" as a towering structure since this represented their products best. Tools: AI

    Through further research it was revealed that the engineering aspect of the company could be best represented with a gyroscope. Tools: AI

    After finalizing the logo, color was introduced. Rise wanted a confident and dependable feel. Tools: AI

    The final logo portrayed the towering heights of their recreation products and transformative adventures in a clean and bold aesthetic. Tools: AI

    Business Cards / Letterhead

    The client requested metal business cards to go with their bold and adventurous attitude. And a simple and clean letterhead. Tools: AI and ID

    Storyboards

    An intro animation that depicted the transformative nature of the companies products and industry was the next step in hyping up the brand. Tools: C4D, PS, AI and AE

  • Exposure Vol 2

    Climbing Flick

    Digital Sketch(1)

    The director asked for a concept that incorporated athletes of the film, the theme "Obsessed with impossible", and a font that had a gritty feel. Tools: PS and AI

    Digital Sketch(2)

    A file was provided with hand picked images to use for the concept art. Texturing, coloring and a diagonal grid helped to unify the aesthetic. Tools: PS and C4D

    Final

    Once the concept was finalized, everything else was based off of this. From the poster to the DVD cover and graphics for the film. Tools: PS, C4D, AI and AE

  • Collabrate

    Email Software

    Research and Sketch

    This project was a brand reinforcement, since the logo and identity had already been created. Collabrate asked for an overview animation and web assets. Tools: Pencil and Paper

    Development

    Style boards based off the 1st draft of the script and previous sketches. Collabrate had a 2D playful style associated with the brand that was emphasized in the animation. Tools: AI
